What We Provide
ASBESTOS TESTING
Asbestos containing materials (ACMs) were widely used in the building of commercial and domestic properties throughout the UK during the 20th century until the 1970s, when public recognition of the health hazards of asbestos dust led to its prohibition in mainstream construction and fireproofing in most countries. ACMs were mainly used from around 1930 to 2000, but particularly from 1960 onwards.
A final UK ban for using these materials was implemented in 1999. Properties built since the mid-80s are more unlikely to have asbestos in the fabric of the building, however it cannot be ruled out. The only way of knowing for sure is to have samples taken and analysed.
We at A Plus Asbestos Ltd have fully trained operatives to carry out this asbestos sampling service for you. Once the samples have been collected, we will get them to the laboratory for analysis. We only use UKAS accredited laboratories in order to get the most accurate results possible.
Results are normally received within 24-48 hours which we will then forward on to you via email.
ASBESTOS REMOVAL
Asbestos is not only found inside your property it can also be found externally in your roof space, garden, yard, outhouse and garage.
It is also found in common areas of commercial or public buildings such as factories, warehouses, offices, shops, hospitals and schools. These common areas include foyers, corridors, staircases, roof spaces, gardens, yards, outhouses and garages.

Removal of asbestos water tank in loft
Could not be happier with the work that Graham and Tony did for us. They turned up after a long day in London and removed what turned out to be quite a massive Abestos water tank, in a very cramped loft, in sweltering heat. Not the slightest complaint or fuss made, they got in with it like it was no trouble whatsoever. Extremely professional with excellent communication, very tidy and courteous with a great explanation of what they were doing. Nothing was too much trouble.
